The Mercer County Improvement Authority has partnered with TerraCycle® by joining its Dairy Tub Brigade®. Dedicated employees have been collecting their yogurt, pudding, dairy tubs and lids. TerraCycle®, located in Trenton, is an international upcycling and recycling company that collects difficult-to-recycle packaging and products and repurposes the material into new, innovative products.

While the MCIA is playing its part in protecting the environment, it also is helping one of our local non-profit organizations, Anchor House. Every collection the MCIA sends, TerraCycle® makes a donation to Anchor House. Anchor House is a local multi-service agency for runaway, homeless, abused, and at-risk youth and their families.
